Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic case of Daniel Zairis, and I can't stop thinking about the role his friends played that night. It must have taken an immense amount of courage and quick thinking for them to confront the shooter and then rush Daniel to the hospital themselves. While their actions unfortunately couldn’t save him, I hope they find some comfort in knowing they did everything they could for their friend in such a terrifying and chaotic situation. I can't imagine the trauma they’re dealing with now, both from witnessing the attack and the loss of their friend. It’s heartbreaking to think of how these events might affect them in the long run. I really hope they’re receiving support and counseling because they shouldn't have to go through this alone. These kinds of senseless acts of violence really impact so many lives, and I hope the community can come together to support everyone affected. If anyone has information on organizations or resources providing assistance to victims’ families and friends in Providence, please share. They could really use all the support they can get right now. Stay safe, everyone.
