Hi everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about the tragic event in Johnston and wanted to share thoughts on the incredibly important role Thomas "TJ" May played in his community as a Johnston Little League coach. From what I've gathered, he wasn't just a coach but a real mentor who went beyond teaching sports skills. He genuinely cared about each of the kids, instilling important values and offering guidance that extended off the field too. It's clear that he left a lasting positive mark on the young athletes he mentored. It's stories like these that remind us of the profound impact an individual can have in their community. It's truly a devastating loss for those kids and everyone involved with the league. My heart goes out to his family, especially his daughter who's recovering. It’s great to see the community coming together to support them through fundraising efforts. If anyone has more details about how the community can help or any other ways to support the family, please share. Let's continue to keep his spirit alive by helping in any way we can. Stay safe and take care, everyone.
