Does anyone know what the lighting conditions were like on Randolph Street at the time of Domingo Reyes’s murder? I know it was around 1:20 p.m., but I’m curious if there might have been shadows or blind spots that afternoon. Sometimes little details like this could affect how much a witness might be able to see or remember, especially if the area has any obstructions or if buildings block any sunlight. I feel for Reyes's family—I can't imagine how difficult it must be to not have clear answers this long after. If there's someone out there with any info, no matter how small, it could be critical. Let's hope for some progress in this case soon.

I've been following the case of Domingo Reyes, and it really got me thinking about the role of community trust with law enforcement. It's so crucial for cases like these where there seems to be a lack of witnesses stepping up or substantial evidence to move toward any leads. It breaks my heart to think that fear or mistrust could prevent justice for Domingo and his family. I wonder if there are community programs or outreach efforts in place to build these bridges between residents and law enforcement, especially in areas where people might feel hesitant to speak out. Could increased dialogue and trust-building initiatives potentially help solve not just this case but others like it? Would love to hear thoughts or if anyone knows more about such efforts. Sending love and strength to Domingo's loved ones.

I've been thinking a lot about Domingo Reyes's case, and it’s just so upsetting that his family still doesn’t have the answers they deserve. It happened more than a decade ago, yet it feels like it could have been yesterday. What really gets to me is the time of day it happened - 1:20 p.m. That's broad daylight, in a place where people are likely to be around and witness something. I know the MPD has put out calls for help before, but I wonder if there are folks who saw something that day and maybe didn't realize its significance at the time. Could anyone have seen or heard something and thought it was just "another day in D.C."? Sometimes, even the smallest details can be huge in cases like this. If anyone was around Randolph Street NW on that day back in March 2006, I hope they come forward. It's so important for Domingo’s family, who have been left with this horrible void ever since. And kudos to Detective Michael Fulton and the team for keeping this case active. It must be incredibly tough to work a case with so little to go on, but the determination to bring closure is evident. Anyone with even a scrap of information should reach out; it could be the piece that finally brings justice.
