Moses Cole was truly a remarkable person and it’s clear that he made a positive impact on those around him. I've been reading a lot about the situation, and it got me thinking about the ripple effects of gun violence. Moses’s tragic death has left such a void, especially considering how much he had already accomplished at such a young age. Opening a convenience store and working multiple jobs to provide for his son, Deon, shows just how driven and caring he was. The fact that he moved to Sioux Falls from Liberia and graduated from Harrisburg High School just adds to how much he was able to achieve despite the hurdles. It’s heartbreaking to imagine the future he could have built for his son, and I can only begin to grasp the pain his family and friends must be feeling. Wishing them strength and peace as they navigate life without him.
