I've been thinking a lot about the impact this tragedy has had on those who knew Cassy. It's so difficult to comprehend how someone so vibrant and full of life could have been taken from this world in such a terrible way. Cassy seemed to be someone who truly cared for those around her, and it's clear from everything I've read that she was deeply loved by her friends, family, and coworkers. I can only imagine the void her absence has left in their lives, especially for Xavier. It's been almost two years since it happened, and I wonder how her family and the Kadoka community are coping. It's important to keep their healing in our thoughts and to show support wherever we can. Anyone else think there are ways we could help honor her memory?
