I'm still trying to wrap my head around the details of what happened in Sioux Falls. I can't stop thinking about how traumatic this must've been for the two young kids in the apartment, especially since one of them was the one who bravely informed the officers. This little guy showed incredible courage under such terrifying circumstances.
I hope they have a solid support system and access to counseling to help them process this experience. It's unimaginable what they witnessed, and I just hope they’ll be able to find some sense of peace and healing. It's a stark reminder of how domestic violence not only affects adults but has deep impacts on children who are caught in the crossfire.
It's such a tragic case all around, and my thoughts are with Brianna’s family and friends. They deserve answers and justice for what she went through. If anyone in the community has been involved in outreach or support for the family, I'd love to know more about how we can help.
Has anyone else been thinking about how brave those two kids were during this whole tragic ordeal? I can't even begin to imagine how terrifying it must have been for them. I just keep coming back to that moment where the five-year-old had the courage to talk to the responding officers and alert them to what had happened. It breaks my heart to think of them experiencing something so traumatic at such a young age. I'm thankful they were unharmed physically, but the emotional toll must be immense. Does anyone know if there's been any update on their well-being or if there's a fund to support them and their family? My thoughts are with them and Brianna's family during this incredibly difficult time.

It's crucial these boys get the help they need to heal and move forward. And I genuinely hope Brianna's family and friends are receiving the support they need during this incredibly difficult time.
