Has anyone ever looked into the role of the woman who was with Herman Barker when he shot Deputy Osborn? I find it interesting how she ended up providing crucial information about the shooting. I can't help but wonder what her motivations were and whether she might have been involved in some way or if she was just caught up in Barker's criminal life without much of a choice. It's troubling to think that someone might have been close enough to such a violent person and these events, yet managed to contribute to bringing some degree of justice. Anyone have more details or theories about her situation? I imagine Deputy Osborn’s family might have found her involvement both helpful and puzzling during such a difficult time.
