Silvia Perez, 24, was last seen on April 16, 2004, in Houston, Texas. Five days prior, on April 11, 2004, her mother saw her for the last time as she departed from her mother's residence. On the day she vanished, Perez was at a Wendy's restaurant located in the Greenspoint Mall area of Houston. She was accompanied by Jose Gonzalez and Mauro Escobar, both of whom were friends of her boyfriend.
Gonzalez was reportedly in possession of a significant amount of cash, as he was planning to purchase farm equipment, and Perez was believed to have information on where he could acquire it. The three were last seen together in Escobar's blue or gray 1996 Chevrolet Tahoe, which had the Texas license plate number TBZ-77X. This vehicle was discovered a few days later in a wrecking yard in Humble, Texas, where it had been stripped and abandoned.
Since that day, there has been no communication from Perez, Gonzalez, or Escobar. Both Gonzalez and Escobar were residents of Roma, Texas, at the time of their disappearance. Authorities suspect that foul play could be a factor in all three of their unsolved cases.
