I’ve been thinking a lot about the community's role in solving cases like Dontay Cunningham's. It's incredibly frustrating to see another life lost, especially when there are friends and family waiting for answers. It’s clear that the Violent Crimes Branch is working hard, but they can’t do it alone. We, as a community, have a responsibility to step up. It's not just about one case; it's about creating a ripple effect of safety and justice. Even if you think what you know is insignificant, it could be the missing puzzle piece detectives need. Let’s all keep our ears open and stay vigilant—not just for Dontay but to prevent future tragedies. Sending strength to his loved ones in this difficult time.
