Hey everyone,
I've been thinking about the old case of Leland Aster Haven, the 16-year-old who was murdered in Watford City back in 1930. One angle I'm curious about is the role the community played after the tragedy. Given how close-knit small towns can be, it's hard not to wonder how his family and friends were supported (or not) by those around them. I imagine in a community that small, everyone must have felt the impact of his death deeply, even if they weren't directly involved. Does anyone have any info on how the town reacted at the time or any stories that have been passed down about it? Sometimes, it's these smaller details that can give us a clearer picture of what truly happened back then. Any help or ideas would be appreciated. Leland deserves to be remembered, and maybe understanding more about the community's response could offer some insights. Thanks, everyone.
