I’ve been reading up on the Haven family case from 1930, and I keep thinking about the role Charles Bannon's father, James, played in this tragedy. It’s haunting to consider whether he truly was an accomplice or just caught up in the aftermath of his son's horrific actions. I can't imagine the amount of grief and confusion both the Haven and Bannon families must have gone through. The justice system back then was so different—seems like people were quick to decide his fate without concrete evidence of his involvement. Does anyone have more info or thoughts on James Bannon’s trial and how he might've been involved? Keeping the Haven family in my thoughts, it’s such a tragic chapter in history.
