Hey everyone, I was reflecting on the tragic events at the Xerox building in Honolulu, and something that's really stuck with me is the aftermath for the survivors and the families of those who were lost, like John Sakamoto. It's hard to imagine the pain and challenges they faced in the wake of such a traumatic incident. There's so much emphasis on the shooter and what led him to act, but sometimes I feel like the stories of resilience and support among the victims' families and the surviving employees don't get the attention they deserve. I've read about how some of the families came together to support each other through the tough times that followed. It's truly inspiring to see communities rally in the face of such immense tragedy. I hope we continue to talk about this side of the story. It serves as a reminder of the strength and solidarity that can emerge from our darkest days. To anyone reading who might be directly or indirectly affected by the incident, my thoughts are with you. Stay kind and supportive, everyone. ❤️
