I've been thinking about the impact this incident has likely had on the Ala Moana Center community, and I can't help but feel the weight of it. Christmas is supposed to be a time of joy and togetherness, and to have such a tragic event occur on that day must have left a lasting scar on everyone who was there. I wonder how the shoppers and store employees have grappled with returning to a place where such a shocking event occurred. It’s a reminder of how fragile life can be and how something that seems so distant can hit so close to home. My heart goes out to Stevie’s loved ones and all those who had to witness such a horrific scene. It's important that as a community, we come together to support each other in the aftermath of such tragedy.
