I recently came across the case of Edward Assad Nassar, and one aspect that's been haunting me is the presence of his two young daughters during the horrific event. I can't even begin to imagine the trauma they must have experienced witnessing such a violent act. Those girls, now adults, carried the weight of that day with them their entire lives, and I hope they've found some form of peace or healing. It’s just so difficult to think about how a single, violent moment can forever alter the lives of those indirectly involved. It serves as a stark reminder of the wider impact such crimes have, which extends far beyond just the immediate victim. My heart truly goes out to the Nassar family, and I hope they have found support in their community over the years.

Did anyone else notice the chilling demeanor of John Louis Evans III during his trial? It’s terrifying to think about how he openly threatened the jury, showing absolutely no remorse. I can't even begin to imagine how Edward Nassar’s family, especially his daughters, must have felt during the trial, having to witness such audacity from their father's killer. It must have been incredibly difficult for them to see him show no regret for taking away their loved one. The fact that Evans displayed such coldness truly highlights the brutal nature of the crime spree he and Ritter were on. The psychological toll on the victims' families in cases like this often seems to be overlooked, but it’s clear that the impact is deeply lasting and painful. I hope Nassar's daughters found some measure of peace and support amidst all this horror.
