Hey everyone, I've been digging into the circumstances surrounding Jermaine Wesley's tragic death in Birmingham back in 2008. What really strikes me is how little information there seems to be about the investigation. Was there ever any public statement made by the police, or have any local activists spoken out about the lack of information? It seems like these cases often get forgotten amidst the statistics, but Jermaine was a real person with a story and family that loved him. Even after all these years, you’d think there would be more transparency or updates available to the community. It’s just so frustrating that, even now, we still only know him as another number in that year’s horrendous crime statistics. Anyone else have any insight or thoughts on how these cases are handled?
