I keep thinking about Chelsie's classmates and teammates who must be going through so much right now. Chelsie was such a vibrant part of Rogers High School, especially on the softball and volleyball teams. It's no surprise she left a lasting impression on everyone she met. I can only imagine how difficult it is for her friends trying to make sense of losing someone so full of life and with so much potential. During tough times like these, it seems like sports can be both a reminder of who’s missing and a way to find comfort and strength together. I hope her teammates find solace in each other and the memories they shared. Cheering on the team, playing in her honor, could be a way for them to cope and celebrate her life. Anyone else have experience or advice on how teams and classmates can support each other after such a tragic loss? Sending love to everyone affected.
