I was watching the "Night of the Dead" episode of The First 48 that covered Anthony Everson's case, and I couldn’t help but notice how the show highlighted the dedication of the Birmingham homicide detectives. It's a constant reminder of their hard work under incredibly difficult circumstances. The emotional weight they carry while trying to piece together what happened is quite profound. I think sometimes people underestimate what detectives take on when they pledge to bring justice to victims like Anthony. Hoping for strength and peace for his loved ones during this difficult time. Anyone have any thoughts on how these murder investigations are portrayed on television versus the reality?
