I recently read about the murder of Charles Poland Jr., and I can't stop thinking about Ethan, the little boy who endured that terrifying hostage situation. It's unimaginable what he and his family went through during those days. I'm relieved that law enforcement was able to bring him to safety, but I hope Ethan is getting all the support and care he needs after such a traumatic experience. It's hard to grasp how something so awful could happen on what should have been just another regular day on the school bus. My heart goes out to Ethan and his family, and I hope they have found some peace in the years since it all happened.
