Hey everyone, just joined the thread because the case of Celeste Wyma Hensley Greub really caught my interest. I was thinking about the sighting reported on August 11, 1976. It’s been on my mind how that group of hikers saw someone resembling Celeste near that unnamed lake. Given the terrain in that area between Misty Moon Lake and Gunboat Lake, it seems like a risky place to be without any gear. Do you think it's possible she got disoriented or was attempting to find her way back? The lakes and trails around Florence Pass can be confusing, especially if you’re not familiar with the area. I wonder if anyone ever tried to retrace potential routes she might have taken from where she was last seen. It seems like such a crucial lead that might not have been fully explored back then. What do you all think?
