I can't stop thinking about Patrick's kids and the impact this tragedy must have on them. Losing a parent is unimaginable, especially in such violent circumstances. It's apparent from everything people have said that Patrick was a devoted father. It's surreal to think that someone so dedicated to his family is no longer with us. I hope Aayden, Kayden, and Zayden have a strong support system to help them navigate through this difficult time. It's clear that Patrick meant the world to them, and my heart goes out to the family and everyone else affected.
I've been thinking about how Patrick Duffee was not only an incredible athlete but also a devoted family man. It's clear he touched so many lives, from his teammates during high school to his fellow church members at Central Baptist. It's hard not to feel a connection to him even if we never met him personally. His children must be going through such a difficult time trying to process all this. I hope the community can rally around them to provide support and share stories of the 29 years Patrick brought joy to those around him. Each new detail about the case just feels like another piece of an already difficult puzzle to put together, and I can't imagine how tough it is for his family and friends to find answers while they're grieving.
