I've been thinking about Lesley Woodman's case a lot lately, and it's just so unsettling to think about what she must have gone through. I've known people who were in tough situations, too, and it’s always so difficult to see someone struggling and not being able to help them escape. What's haunting is that Lesley seemed to be reaching out for help, but it just wasn’t enough. It breaks my heart for her kids, who are now without their mother and stuck with all the repercussions of what happened. It's such a grim reality. I hope her story continues to raise awareness about the need for robust support systems for those in similar situations and encourages others to lend a more compassionate ear when someone seems to be in trouble. If anyone else has been following the case, I’d love to discuss what more might be done to prevent such tragedies.
