Charles Turner, a 37-year-old African-American man, was found fatally shot on the night of February 28, 2008, on the 1400 block of 1st Street NW in Washington, D.C. Officers arrived around 8:45 p.m. and discovered him with multiple gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene after attempts at medical aid.

Charles Turner’s name does not appear on the Metropolitan Police Department’s 2008 Major Case/Unsolved Homicides flyers, and the online profile for him contains no indication that anyone has been publicly identified or charged.
