I’ve been following the tragic case of Chad Lorance, and something that’s really been sticking with me is the involvement of Lorance’s wife and child at the scene. I cannot even begin to imagine the trauma they experienced that day. It’s difficult enough to cope with the loss of a loved one, let alone witnessing such a tragic event firsthand. My heart truly goes out to them and to everyone in Chad’s family.
I’ve been hoping that local support services or counselors have reached out to offer them any assistance available. Having the community pull together in times like this can make such a difference, especially in a small town like Somerville where everyone feels connected to each other. It’s just all so incredibly sad. ?
I’ve been following the Chad Anthony Lorance case, and I can’t stop thinking about how close Chad and Bryan Crow used to be. It’s hard to wrap my head around how such a tight-knit friendship could take such a tragic turn. Seems like everyone knew them as best friends since childhood, so what happened between them must have been serious, especially for it to end this way. I can't imagine what Chad's family is going through, having witnessed the event, especially his wife and child.
I'm curious about the timeline of their falling out—was it something that built up over time, or did something specific trigger it leading up to that day? It's also concerning that Bryan, with his past conviction, had access to a firearm. I hope the ongoing investigation brings to light what caused this terrible split and that Chad's loved ones find some sort of peace. Anyone else have insights on what might have contributed to this breaking point?
