I've been thinking about the location where James Germany was found. The 1500 block of Isherwood Street, NE isn't one of the most talked-about spots in D.C., but it does see its share of crime. It's just so sad to think about how a neighborhood that many call home could also be the site of such a terrible incident. It's frustrating and baffling that Mr. Germany's case is still unsolved after all these years. It makes me wonder about the dynamics of that area back in 2008. Was it a known trouble spot? Did anyone see anything suspicious? I feel for his family, not only because they've lost a loved one but also because they've waited so long without answers. If only someone who knows something could find the courage to come forward. Every little detail could make a difference. It's never too late to speak up, and it could finally bring peace to those who cared about him. Sending strength to Mr. Germany's family and hoping the community steps up to help.
