Does anyone know if the area around Chicken Rock has been searched extensively? With the witness account placing a woman matching Johnnie Mae's description walking in that direction, it seems like a thorough search could be crucial. Also, was she familiar with the area at all? It's odd that she would head towards Chicken Rock if she was confused or lost. Maybe someone local might have some insight or theories about why she might have gone that way. It's been so long, but any details might help to piece things together.
