I came across the Bartt Sherbrook Felt case recently and found something intriguing about the location of his vehicle. It was discovered on the Valley of the Gods road, quite a distance from the Mexican Hat Bridge where his backpack turned up. I can't help but wonder why he might have driven his car so far off the main route to Arizona. Was he hiding, or did he take a detour for another reason entirely? Also, does anyone know the terrain around that area? Was it accessible enough for someone on foot or was it too treacherous to navigate? It seems like it must have been difficult enough for the search teams. Any insights into what the conditions are like out there might help piece together why his car ended up where it did.
