Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about the store where Otha Deail Davis was shot. It seems like such an ordinary place, and it’s unsettling to realize that something so tragic could happen in a familiar spot like that. It's a reminder of how quickly life can change. I can’t imagine what the people who work and shop there are feeling, knowing that their local store was the site of such a terrible event. Does anyone know if local businesses have taken any steps since the incident to ensure safety or if there’s been any discussion in the community about what can be done to prevent something similar from happening again? My heart goes out to Davis’s family and friends. It's awful to not only lose someone you care about but to lose them in such a public and violent way. If anyone local to Forkland has more updates or info, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks.
