On August 2, 2015, 36-year-old Otha Deail Davis was fatally shot in Forkland, Alabama. The incident occurred at a local convenience store, where a confrontation led to Davis's death. Following the shooting, a teenager from Greene County surrendered to authorities and was charged with murder in connection with the killing.
