Boris Moody, 31, a Black male from Forkland, Alabama, was shot multiple times at the Dollar General on the 13000 block of U.S. Highway 43 after 1 p.m. on Monday, October 6, 2025. State investigators said the Forkland Police Department requested their help, and early details indicated Moody was attacked at the store during the busy afternoon, where he suffered fatal wounds before he could be saved. Local reporting the same week specified he was shot several times inside the store.
