Hi everyone, I’ve been following the case of Jody Marie Watson, and something that really struck me was how close this all happened to the last reported domestic incident. It's chilling to think about the regularity of visits by the authorities to their home and how, even with those warning signs, things escalated to such a horrible conclusion. It’s just so distressing to know that Jody felt she couldn't or didn’t pursue legal action previously. This really highlights how difficult it can be for domestic violence victims to take steps that might help protect them. I can’t even begin to imagine what her kids, who were there that day, went through and how they’re coping now. Wouldn’t it be beneficial for communities to have more resources or intervention programs to support people in situations like Jody's? Maybe there's a way to do more before things reach such a tragic point. My heart really goes out to her family and friends. – thoughts and prayers for all impacted ?
