Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the impact this tragedy must have had on Vontrayvious Bennett's friends and family. It’s hard to grasp how someone so young, just 19 years old, can fall victim to such senseless violence. I can’t imagine what his loved ones are going through, knowing that someone with so much life ahead of him has been taken away so abruptly. What caught my eye was the involvement of Jasper Cole in this case. It’s frustrating that there are people willing to help the perpetrators rather than stand up for what is right. By allegedly helping Jackson evade arrest, Cole’s actions seem to have added even more pain to an already devastating situation. I always wonder what leads someone to assist in such a serious crime—is it fear, loyalty, or something else entirely? I'm hopeful that as the investigation continues, more people will come forward with information. This cycle of violence in Selma, particularly on King Street, needs to be addressed, and it requires the whole community’s effort. Sending thoughts to those affected by this tragedy—let’s hope justice is served. Take care, everyone.

It's truly gut-wrenching to think about the violence affecting Selma and how yet another family is dealing with such a profound loss. My heart goes out to Vontrayvious Bennett's family and friends. I can't begin to imagine their pain. One thing that keeps circling in my mind is how difficult it must be for witnesses in these situations. With crime rates in the area on the rise, coming forward with information must feel incredibly risky. I hope the community can rally around anyone brave enough to share what they know, and that the authorities can provide some protection for those willing to help. Moreover, does anyone know if there have been any updates on how effective the law enforcement's call to the community has been? It's hard to understand the challenges they face every day, but it seems crucial for fostering trust and cooperation to prevent more tragedies like this one. Keep safe, everyone.
