Has anyone else been following the Minney Lee case? I was struck by how quickly the jury reached a verdict. Less than an hour—it's clear they were pretty convinced by the prosecution's evidence. It's hard to wrap my head around how something like this can even be defended as accidental when it seems, at least from reports, that there was a clear intentional act. My thoughts are with Minney's loved ones as they navigate this painful time. It's just so sad to see another promising young life cut short due to a domestic altercation that spiraled out of control. I hope this case brings more awareness to the issues of domestic violence and the tragic outcomes that can arise from it.
