Hey folks, I've been following the Michael Ahern case for a while now, and there's one detail I can't wrap my head around. Why on earth was his dog left behind at the clubhouse without any arrangements for its care? With how close Ahern supposedly was to his dog, this seems extremely out of character. Most pet owners I know would never leave their animals without a plan, especially for an extended period. Could this detail possibly hold some clue about his mindset or intentions that day? If he was planning to leave, even briefly, wouldn't he have mentioned something to someone about taking care of the dog? I'm wondering if Jeffers had anything more to say about the situation with Ahern's dog, but maybe that's asking for too much considering the nature of their relationship. Just a thought! Would love to hear what others think. Could there be more to this seemingly small aspect than meets the eye?
