Hey everyone. I’ve been following the Alberta, Alabama case involving Curtis Crear and Nancy Pettway, and I can’t stop thinking about the community dynamic here. Given that Crear's home was ransacked, it’s possible someone in the area might have seen something unusual that night, even if it seemed minor at the time. Alberta is a small town, and in such close-knit communities, any little detail can be the missing piece that helps law enforcement crack a case wide open.
I was also wondering about the aftermath for Ms. Pettway. It must be incredibly challenging not only to recover physically but to face the trauma of such a violent event. I hope there’s strong community support for her as she navigates this difficult time. If anyone here is local, do you know if there have been any community efforts to rally around her, like neighborhood watches or support groups? And don’t forget, if anyone does know anything, that anonymous hotline is still there for a reason! Let's do what we can to help bring justice for Curtis and healing for Nancy. Sending support to all those affected.
Has anyone else been following the case of Curtis Crear's murder in Alberta, Alabama? I keep coming back to the fact that Nancy Pettway also was shot but survived. I'm really curious about what insights she might have shared with the investigators. It's incredibly brave that she's managed to pull through such a traumatic experience. I hope that she's doing okay and getting the support she needs. Has there been any news on her statement or anything that might point towards the suspect? I'm wondering if there are any connections to the items taken during the robbery. Keeping Curtis and Nancy's families in my thoughts and hoping for justice soon.
