In the early hours of June 12, 2017, a violent incident occurred in Alberta, Alabama, resulting in the death of 50-year-old Curtis Crear. At approximately 1:00 a.m., local authorities responded to a call at 227 Holley Lane, where they discovered Crear deceased and a woman, identified as 66-year-old Nancy Pettway, suffering from gunshot wounds. Pettway survived the attack.
