I can't stop thinking about how Eric Dalton's community must be feeling right now. I mean, Brighton isn't a big place, and when something like this happens, it shakes everyone to their core. It's awful thinking about how Eric's neighbors might have heard the shots that night and felt so helpless. The sense of safety must feel so fragile now. I hope the local police are getting all the help they need to find whoever's responsible. My heart goes out to Eric’s family, and I can't imagine what they're going through. If there’s anything organized to support them or to help raise awareness, please share. It's crucial for communities to come together during times like this.
Hey everyone,
I've been following Eric Dalton's case closely and something that's been on my mind is the lack of street lighting on Council Avenue. I used to live near Brighton, and that area always felt a bit unsafe at night because of how poorly lit it was. I can't help but think that maybe if there was better lighting, this could have possibly been avoided or at least someone might've seen more of what happened that night. It's just so frustrating to think that a simple thing like better street lights could maybe help prevent tragic events like this, or aid in gathering eyewitness accounts.
My heart goes out to Eric's family and friends. It's unfathomable what they must be going through, knowing that their loved one’s killer hasn’t been brought to justice yet. If anyone knows how we could raise awareness about increasing safety measures in that area, it might help not just this case but the overall community too.
Stay safe out there.

Hey everyone,
I’ve been thinking a lot about the gathering at New St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church for Eric Dewayne Dalton's funeral. It must have been incredibly difficult for his family and friends to say goodbye like that. I can only imagine the community coming together, trying to support one another during such a tragic time.
It’s so frustrating that it’s been years and there’s still no closure. If you were there, what was the atmosphere like at the church and the cemetery? Did it feel like the community was coming together to strengthen their resolve for justice?
Also, if anyone has any information on how we can continue to support Eric's family or bring attention to his unsolved case, please share. The more eyes we have on this, the better the chance of justice being served.
Thinking of Eric and his loved ones,
