I've been following the case of Brittany Anne Ford and her little boy for a while, and one thing that's been gnawing at me is the abandoned car. It was found in such a remote area between Billings and Sheridan, near Hardin, Montana. Why there? From what I understand, Brittany was last heard from in Iowa. Did she know someone along that route, or was she just driving aimlessly, perhaps in a state of distress? Given the car was in working order and had gas, it seems odd to abandon it. It was like she wanted to vanish, but then, why leave all her personal belongings and Deklon's car seat behind? It makes me wonder if leaving the car was intentional or if something else happened that forced her to leave everything. Did she intend to throw people off her trail, or did she trust someone she shouldn’t have? Anyone else have thoughts on why her last stop might have been in Montana?
