Wow, the tragic loss of Korderal Anderson really weighs heavily on the heart, especially knowing it’s another statistic in a year with a distressing number of homicides in Birmingham. I can’t help but think of how difficult it must be for his family and friends, having to say their goodbyes on October 7th at the Brickyard Hill Church. I read somewhere that he was laid to rest in Bessemer. It’s truly unfathomable what his loved ones must be going through right now. Has anyone heard any updates on Amerson’s case? It’s hard to wrap my head around how someone can be out on a $60,000 bond after being charged with something so serious. Does anyone have insights on how bond amounts are determined in these cases? I just wish there was more accountability in the system to prevent this from happening again. This case has been a harsh reminder of the violence plaguing our communities.
