Algan D. Howard was 19 when he was shot and killed in Washington, D.C., on Sunday, September 20, 2009, at about 10:58 p.m. The shooting occurred in front of a residence at 3098 Stanton Road, SE. The victim is described as an African-American male.

The Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch is investigating but has not publicly identified any suspects, released a motive, or made any arrests. To encourage tips, the department is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction. Investigators say community cooperation remains important to bring those responsible to justice.
