I’ve been thinking a lot about Dee Haslip's case recently. I've been digging into some old posts and articles, and one thing that strikes me is how much love he clearly had for his son, Destin. It’s such a profound tragedy that a young boy has to grow up without his father. The connection they shared must have been truly special, and it’s just gut-wrenching to think about all the moments they're missing out on together. I know there’s a lot of talk about the potential drug-related angle, but I feel like we shouldn’t let it overshadow the kind of person Dee was—his kindness, his love for fashion and cars, and above all, his dedication to his son. If anyone here has been in contact with the family lately or attended the memorial service, did they mention anything about continuing to honor him or how the community might keep his legacy alive? Hoping that Destin has a strong support system around him during this incredibly difficult time. Let’s keep this discussion alive, and hopefully, someone out there will have the information needed to bring closure to his family. Anyone with new insights or thoughts?
