I’ve been following this really gut-wrenching case and wanted to talk about something that’s been on my mind—the argument Krystal and Ben had at her workplace the day before the tragedy. I can’t help but wonder if anyone at the Mt. Vernon Police Department sensed something was seriously wrong or if Krystal confided in any of her coworkers about ongoing issues at home. Verbal disputes can sometimes be a cry for help that goes unnoticed. It's so haunting to think that this incident took place just hours before everything unfolded. My heart goes out to Krystal's colleagues who must be grappling with shock and guilt, questioning if they missed any signs. Krystal’s family and her girls are in my thoughts. I hope they're surrounded by love and support during this unbelievably tough time. Anyone else think there might have been subtle signs that something like this could happen?
