On December 12, 2018, at approximately 10:45 p.m., Baldwin County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting at a residence on Eastwood Drive in Bay Minette, Alabama. Upon arrival, they discovered 29-year-old Krystal Rose Renee Hancock deceased in a bedroom, alongside her husband, 39-year-old Ben Allen, who had sustained a gunshot wound to the head. Allen was airlifted to a local hospital in critical condition.
