Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic case of Rodney Hilleary, and something that's been on my mind is the role that local businesses might play in cases like these. It's really unsettling to think that a life can be lost so close to places we frequent every day. I’ve heard that investigators gathered surveillance footage from nearby businesses, and that makes me wonder: how often do these cameras actually capture useful evidence? Could it be that some businesses simply don’t have the right quality or angle for their surveillance, or maybe aren’t even aware of how crucial their footage could be in solving cases? It’s really important for the community and small businesses to be mindful of the safety measures they have in place.
My heart goes out to Rodney’s family and friends as they wait for answers. I hope this footage can bring some clarity to what happened that night and support the efforts to find justice for Rodney. Anyone have thoughts on how we can encourage better community partnerships when it comes to public safety and surveillance?
