I've been digging into the Mary Lou and Billie Black case and something that's really puzzling me is the choice of vehicle they were last seen in. I live not too far from Atchison, and I know that a 1990 Honda Civic with paint missing from the hood and a noisy exhaust isn't exactly inconspicuous. It's a car that anyone would notice, especially in a small town where everyone's business seems to be on display. Given the couple's known health issues, especially Billie's need for insulin and Mary Lou's Alzheimer's, why hasn't there been any sighting of such a distinct car? You'd think with all the talk about the Missouri River theory, someone would have spotted that Civic around town before it could've ended up in the river. It baffles me how not a single credible sighting of the car has surfaced. Is it possible that it was concealed in some remote area where people don’t often travel, or could it have been taken further afield than most people assumed? I'm curious if anyone here has seen similar cases where a distinct vehicle just vanished without a trace. It's like the car just drove into thin air. Thoughts?

I’ve been following the disappearance of Mary Lou and Billie Black for years, and something that always grabs my attention is their car. It’s been so long, and there's still no trace of that light blue 1990 Honda Civic. With such distinctive features—missing paint on the hood and that loud exhaust—I can't believe it hasn't been spotted or reported somewhere. Has anyone else done a deeper dive into records or databases for abandoned vehicles from around that time? It's just puzzling that their car, if not them, hasn't turned up anywhere, you know?
