Did anyone else notice the strange timing of William Mark Adair's disappearance with Hurricane Ike? I've been reading about his case, and it's just so puzzling. His boat was found overturned more than sixty miles away from the marina in Key Largo, yet there wasn't any significant damage to it. It almost seems too tidy for a boat supposedly caught in a hurricane's rough seas. Could the boat have capsized after he was no longer on it, maybe from the storm's after-effects or drifting currents? The U.S. Coast Guard suspending the search so quickly has always bothered me too. With Ike in the mix, it feels like there's more to this story than just a tragic accident. Could someone familiar with boating in those conditions shed some light on what possibilities there might be for where he could have ended up?
