It's disheartening to read about the loss of Maurice McCauley, especially knowing he was just spending time with loved ones when this tragic event unfolded. What really stands out to me is the resilience and perseverance of the investigators who tirelessly worked on the case for over a year and a half. Getting the arrests of Woolverton and Smith demonstrates a commitment to ensuring justice for Maurice and his family. I truly hope that others with information will come forward to help complete the investigation. Maurice's family deserves answers and peace, as much as possible, after such an incomprehensible loss.
