Hey everyone, I’ve been following the case of Chavan Scruggs, and something that really stands out to me is the way his mom, Nija Hill, has channeled her grief into action. After everything she’s been through, founding "Mothers Involved Against Gun Violence" is such a powerful response. It’s truly inspiring to see someone take such a painful experience and turn it toward helping others and trying to prevent similar tragedies in the future. It got me thinking about the role of community organizations and how vital they can be in driving change. Her initiative must bring some comfort to those who’ve faced similar losses and might feel alone in their fight against gun violence. Does anyone here know more about the work her nonprofit is doing or others like it? Would love to hear more about how we can support efforts like these or get involved ourselves.
