I've been following Corey Wells’ case pretty closely, and something keeps bugging me about his supposed decision to "stay in California." If he really intended to stay, wouldn't he have reached out to someone by now? His mom and kids are in Georgia, and from what I've read, it sounds like he was close to them. It just doesn’t add up that he'd go silent on everyone he cared about. And what about his high school friend? If Corey really chose to stay, wouldn't his travel companion have some kind of message or at least a more solid explanation for the family? This whole thing feels off, especially with his relapse and the robbery angle. I really hope the truth comes out for the sake of his family—if anyone has any solid theories or info, it could really help.
I've been digging through the information on Caleb Cordaro Wells' disappearance, and one thing that sticks out to me is the mystery surrounding his travel companion. If I were the authorities, I'd be taking a closer look at this guy's background and what exactly happened when he returned to Georgia alone. It's fishy that he claims Caleb voluntarily stayed in California, especially given that his family doesn't buy this story at all. Does anyone know whether this person has any prior criminal records or if he was questioned thoroughly? It seems odd that there's not more coverage or scrutiny around this angle, especially since it was supposed to be a high-stakes trip involving a robbery. Would love to hear other theories or any updates on what the Sheriff's Office might be doing in terms of this lead.
