Has anyone else been following Judy Weemes' case from 2005? I've been looking into old missing persons cases and hers caught my attention. The fact that she was last seen rafting on the Kern River has me wondering about river safety and the conditions that day. Was there any bad weather reported, or was the river particularly rough around that time? It’s such a risky activity, even for experienced rafters. I tried finding more info on search efforts back then, but there doesn’t seem to be much available. Does anyone know if there were any extensive searches conducted immediately after she went missing? It’d be interesting to know if there were any organized efforts, given how unpredictable the river currents can be. If anyone has any info, please share!
