On July 16, 2005, 39-year-old Judy Weemes went missing in Kern County, California. At the time of her disappearance, she was described as a white female, standing at 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing approximately 130 pounds. Weemes had red hair and hazel eyes.

The last known sighting of Weemes was while she was rafting on the Kern River. She was reportedly wearing a pink tank top and shorts on the day she vanished.
